What we do with what you tell us

You should not need a lawyer to find out what happens to your information. This page says it plainly: what we collect, where it goes, and how to make us delete it.

Effective August 6, 2026 Applies to This website Responsible The Empower Collective LLC
The short version. We collect nothing about you unless you fill out a form and send it. If you do, we use what you wrote to answer you and to point you toward the right next step. We do not sell it, we do not share it with employers or partners unless you ask us to, and we will delete it if you tell us to. There are no ads, no analytics, and no tracking on this site.

What we collect

Only what you type into a form and choose to send. That means your name, your email address, and, if you fill them in, your phone number, your organization, your role, and whatever you write in the message box.

There are no accounts to create, no newsletter sign-up, and no cookies set by us. If you never fill out a form, we never learn who you are.

What happens when you send a form

Both forms on this site, the general contact form and the partnership inquiry form, are handled by a service called Formspree. Your submission passes through Formspree's servers, and Formspree stores a copy, before it arrives in our email inbox. We use Gmail, so your message sits in a Google mailbox once it reaches us.

That is the full path: you, then Formspree, then our inbox. Nobody else is in the chain.

What loads automatically when you visit

Two things happen without you doing anything, and you should know about both.

  • Fonts load from Google. The type on this site is served by Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address and basic browser information when a page loads, whether or not you ever contact us. We do not receive that information, and we do not control what Google does with it.
  • Our web host keeps standard server logs. Like nearly every website, the server that delivers these pages records routine technical information such as IP addresses and which pages were requested. This is ordinary infrastructure logging, not something we review or analyze.

Beyond those two, nothing. No analytics, no advertising pixels, no session recording, no social media trackers, and no third party following you from our pages to other websites.

What we use it for

To reply to you, and to figure out which next step fits: a stage of Workforce Empowerment Pathways, a partnership conversation, or a referral somewhere else entirely. That is the whole list.

What we will not do

  • We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone, ever
  • We do not pass what you tell us to employers, providers, or partner organizations unless you ask us to make that introduction
  • We do not add you to a marketing list because you contacted us once
  • We do not use what you write to advertise to you or to anyone else

The only time we would hand over information without your say-so is if the law required it, or if someone's safety was at immediate risk.

Please keep crisis and clinical details out of the form

We are not a treatment provider and not a crisis service, and the contact form is not a secure or confidential clinical channel. It is regular email. Please do not use it to send medical records, diagnoses, or details of an emergency.

If you are in crisis right now, call or text 988. If you need care or immediate support, our resources directory lists organizations that provide it.

You are welcome to tell us as much or as little about your history as you want when you write to us. Share what helps us help you, and nothing more than that.

How long we keep it

We keep correspondence for as long as it is useful for helping you, and no longer than we have a reason to. If you would rather we not hold onto it at all, say so and we will delete it.

Seeing, correcting, or deleting your information

Email us at empower.collective.sv@gmail.com or call 619-889-8728 and ask. You can ask us what we have about you, ask us to correct something that is wrong, or ask us to delete it entirely. You do not need to give a reason, and asking will never affect how we treat you or what you are eligible for.

We aim to respond within 1 to 2 business days, the same as any other message.

Do Not Track

Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal. We do not track visitors across websites in the first place, so there is nothing for that signal to switch off here. We honor it by default, because we never had anything to turn off.

Children

This site is meant for adults exploring peer careers and for organizations building a peer workforce. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us something, contact us and we will delete it.

If this policy changes

If we change anything meaningful, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and describe what changed. We will not apply a new policy retroactively to information you already sent us under the old one.

Who is responsible

This website and everything described on this page are the responsibility of The Empower Collective LLC, 9805 Campo Rd. Suite #165, P.O. Box #65, Spring Valley, CA 91977.

Questions about any of this are welcome, including the awkward ones. Email empower.collective.sv@gmail.com or call 619-889-8728.
